Great Mongeham Society Historical WalkJim Rees, chairman of the Great Mongeham Society, led an historical walk through the village for the July meeting. He looked back to the medieval connections in the area and the time when Mundel established his home at Mundelingeham, the old name for the village. He indicated where established farms had been and the walk ended in Fairfield where an important three day fair and market had been held each October. Brian Knight thanked Jim for his research and members retired to the Three Horseshoes to meet the new landlord.
